Despair

Despair is a sad piece written for guitar and strings.

I composed this work during the Covid pandemic when it was at its peak and life felt quite hopeless. Fortunately, I never lost anyone to illness, but with every business closing due to the contagious nature of the virus, loss of income and freedom was a part of the new way of life.

This significantly impacted me and others on so many levels. Despair is the end result of my circumstance and all the emotions I was feeling at the time.
