“The Final Countdown” is a song by Swedish rock band Europe, released in 1986. Written by Joey Tempest. A fantastic exercise for developing right-hand alternate and economy picking co-ordination, and the left hand arpeggios in the intro are equally useful for developing accuracy in correct note placement and finger strength in the pull offs.
